Allegiance light is designed to work on your Flyright house kit only(Does not work on Telescoping Flagpoles). The Allegiance light needs to be in an area that it will recieve full sunlight not be being blocked by any type of shade, ie Awnings and trees, is estimated winter 1st 4 hours 700 LUX and 2nd 4hours 200 LUX. Summer 8 hours at 1400 LUX.
